hello

I tired searching for this but all i could find was questions about merging and distribution of workbooks which isn't what i want to do.

my question is how do i move a sheet from one workbook to another without the formulas in the worksheet changing. For example i want to move two sheets from one workbook to another. One of those sheets populates info from the other sheet that is being moved with it. when i move them to the other workbook the sheet no longer displays info from the other sheet that was moved with it and the formula had changed.

and it also tells me my workbook contains automatic links to info from another work book how do i stop this

i hope you understand what i am trying to do thanks

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
I've heard of Copying formulas from Exccel to NotePad, then copying from Notpad to Excel -- that way the literal formula is unchanged.. Give it a try..

so there isn't a simple copy and paste/ move way?

because it's going to be a lot of effort re-making all the formulas
