I would like to count the number of colored cells in a range.
Does anyone know how to do this. I thought this would work
=COUNTIF(C13:AA36,"*Cell.Color[1}}*") but I think I need
more info. I do not want to count the number in the cell just
the number of instances that the cell in a certain color.
Please Help!

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.

One way...

Download and install the morefunc.xll add-in and study the example the system provides using XLM.GET.CELL combined with SumProduct.
