How do you extract part of one cell and add it to another?

Hi guys,

Quick question that i can't seem to find the answer for online. I'm using excel 2011 and have a sheet that looks like the following..

name	image link
Nike Shorts	example.com/example_BLACK

<tbody>
</tbody>

What i would like to do is add the part that always directly follows the underscore in the image link cell and add it to the end of the text in the name cell. So the result looks like the following...

name	image link
Nike Shorts BLACK	example.com/example_BLACK

<tbody>
</tbody>

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi,

Given you have only underscore ("_") in the link the solution is rather simple

=A3&" "&RIGHT(B3,LEN(B3)-FIND("_",B3))

Where your Name is in A3 and your image link is in B3.

You would need to use a helper Column, see example below

Excel Workbook
	A	B	C	D
1	name	image link	Helper Column	Result
2	Nike Shorts	example.com/example_BLACK	BLACK	Nike Shorts BLACK
Sheet1
