How do you run an add-in?

Forgive me... I just created my first add-in and I added it to Excel, but now I can't figure out for the life of me how to execute it. Before, I would just run the macro. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the Board!

If you've already created one, then you've probably already seen the MSKB article on how to create an add-in.

As for loading it, goto Tools-->Add-Ins-->Browse and select your Add-In location. You'll then have the option of activating it with a check box.

If that doesn't work, you'd need to post back with specifics of what's not working.

More information...

I understand how to make the add-in. I have already saved it as a *.xla file and loaded it into excel. My problem is that I can't figure out how to call the function I created. My only other option is to create another macro that executes everytime excel starts. I really don't want to do this.
