Hello all:

EXCEL is an womderful software.

We can import data to EXCEL from ACCESS/WEB/TEXT and others. BUT I did not find it is also allowed to import from MSWORD?

Can we import data to EXCEM from MSWORD?

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
You can always while in Word, Copy and then Paste into Excel. You have have to use the Data, Text to Columns option (in Excel) to parse the data into the appropraite cells...

Hello Jim:

Thanks. The way you told works!

If the data is large, this way is still inconvenient. Why the EXCEL
did not consider the popular MSWORD?

MS Word is for the most part a text-based product, unlike Excel and Access (which is Table-based) In MS Word you can, however have Tables (see in xl 2007 - Insert, Table) and to the extent you have data in a MS Word table when you select and copy it from MS Word and paste INTO Excel, no parsing is needed.
