Hey all, TIA for the answer.

I have a spreadsheet that has numbers and text in a column.
Eg: 100 White

I need a quick way to remove the numbers from the column and move them to an empty column in front of the text ( Which I can put there prior of course).. so the end result is two columns one with 100 and the other with White.

Any ideas?

Excel Facts

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Welcome to MrExcel Board!

Do they all look like that (i.e. with a space between the numbers and text)? If so you can use Data, Text to Columns, delimited and choose Space.

Hope that helps!

You're most welcome. *Puts on his "And I didn't even do anything" look*

Glad you got it working!
