Hi,

I was wondering if someone could help me. I have a spreadsheet with items listed in the top half (B3:B6), along with their prices (C3:C6). In in the bottom half, listed is how much I earn in x amount of hours (B9:B13), along with how much (C9:C13).

Based on how much I earn, I want to the spreadsheet to tell me, in cells D3:D6, how long it would take until I could afford to but each item.

Thank you in advance.

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
Thank's for the quick reply. I see what you mean by just using the C9 cell to calculate the times. My example was simplified as far as I could go. What I really have is something like:

...so if I divided C3 by C9, I get 0.081761. I have tidied it up by saying =if(C3/C9 < 1,"Less than 1 hr",C3/C9)

Thanks for your enlightenment. I just needed another pair of eyes to look at it
