How many MS Excel users today?

Hi all,

I am going to make a little presentation to a group of people. To emphasize the advantages of being good at using MS Excel, I would like to cite the popularity of MS Excel.

Is there a statistics as to how many MS Excel users today worldwide?

I tried to google but could not get any figure.

I doubt that there would be a figure that would be particularly accurate, even if you could get confirmation of licenses sold it would not really give a true representation.

Suffice to say it is the most popular spreadsheeting application in the world and is used in most corporate businesses.

This may be wrong as I just made it up but it sounds about right to me

Thanks Armando. I saw that as well but that was almost a year ago. I am thinking there might be an updated one from Microsoft.
