# How much of what?

#### Lythande

##### Board Regular
Hey board,

In a spreadsheet's column M I have a list of dollar amounts. I'd like a cell with a formula that tells me how many are equal to or below \$2499 in column M. What formula can I use? In another cell I'd like another formula that that says how many cells in column M are greater than \$2499 but less than \$10,000.

Than you VERY much for any advice.

### Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Try

=COUNTIF(M:M,">2499")-COUNTIF(M:M,">10000")

=COUNTIF(M:M,"<=2499")
