HI All,
I have an Excel file with size 6000 KB. In this workbook I have 5 pivot tables. I use always this file for updates. Maybe Excel keeps the record/rows or columns deleted or updated. If this is the reason why the size increases, is there a way to solve this issue?

Many thanks in advance for your kind support.

Regards,

Giovanni

Hello Giovanni

In this workbook I have 5 pivot tables.
If you try to remove it certainly will reduce the file size, keep in mind that unlike Excel 2003 does not compress data as (Excel 2007 - 10)

Hi and thanks for the quick reply. I'm using Excel 2003 SP3. I can't remove my pivot tables. In my daily work I use this file, copy it and update rows (delete, add, modify). I suppose Excel keeps the updates in your internal buffer in the copied files. If so, is it possible to remove this "buffer"? Maybe in this way the size can be reduced.

Any help will be well appreciated.

Regards,

Giovanni
