How to add an additional series to a stock (i.e. high low) chart? (2007 SP1)

I've created a high low aka stock chart, add another series and try to change the chart type of the additional series to be a line chart, and Excel forbids it. I know I did this once with Excel 2007 pre-SP1, because I saved it as a template. Problem is, post-SP1 that template doesn't work anymore. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
