How to AUTOMATICALLY trap Circular References

Here is the scenario - I have around 10-15 inter-linked Excel 2007 spreadsheets where data is uploaded into them using a data upload template which is either manually inserted or inserted automatic from a system feed. A separate spreadsheet exists as a links manager to validate the cell references.

Invalid cell references can be found easily enough, as can circular references - but IGNORING Prodiance / Cluster 7 / Finsbury Solutions as potentials, how would you go about automatically finding circular references?

Any sensible contributions welcome.

Thanks
