How to avoid a file name from coming up before a macro?

Hi

I've worked out the solution to this a couple of years ago.

But I haven't had the issue since then.

If you right-click on a shape, then click 'assign' macro, it will show you a list of macros that you can assign to the shape.

However, some macros have the name of the file preceding them. Does anyone know why this happens and how the name of the file can be 'removed' from the front of the macro name?

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Although there might be other reasons, more often than not it will mean that the macro is in a different workbook.
e.g. the shape is in Book1 and the macro is in Book2.
If this is the case then the fix would be to copy the code to the workbook with the shape.
