Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.

You didn't provide a formula, so I'll use the following as an example:

=VLOOKUP(B1,F:G,2,0)

The trick is to see if the value exists in your lookup table first:
=IF(ISNUMBER(MATCH(B1,F:F,0)),VLOOKUP(B1,F:G,2,0),"")

Or if you have excel 07

=IFERROR(VLOOKUP(B1,F:G,2,0),"")

(Used HOTPEPPER's example for you to compare)
