How to calculate the date in excel

i need to drive the exact date for the below detail

If i purchase a product dt 09.07.2010, what will be the date after 45 days.

Example:

In cell A date is 09.07.2010, if enter cell B as 45 (days) i need the exact date for 45 days in cell C

Could any one help on this...

In cell B1: 45
In cell C1: =A1+B1

As per you method i calculated, it showing the date as 23.08.2010, actual date is 15th or 16th Aug 2010.

Unless my maths is wrong, the info pagrender is correct.
Your calculation is only 37 days.
