Hi,
I'm very new to Power Bi and I learn that from Youtube. I am stuck with the YTD Average. If it was in Excel, it's easy - =Average (), But, in Power Bi, it's a bit complicate.

I have two table, one is custom build calendar table - 445 calendar. And a fact table. The fact table looks something like below. Now, I have created a measure for both shipped and received to find out the total of these week. So, how do I find out the average of we shipped and received within these three days? And how about the YTD total? The YTD for shipped is 4 and the received is 5 from May 1 to May 3. Can anybody help me or refer me to a site that has similar calculation? Thank you in advance.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Learning all about PowerBI simply on YouTube is a bit of a stretch in my opinion. One needs to understand basic principles of data modelling, context, table relationships,... I would advice to also read books, you can use as a reference. @Matt Allington , Avi Singh, Rob Collie, Alberto Ferrari & Marco Russo (aka 'the Italian connection', thé references), just to name a few. The last ones quoted have an example dax pattern on almost everything on their website.
