How do I change from relative to absolute while using the macro recorder. When I scroll over the macro recorder, relative appears, if I click the button only relative message appears.

Thanks,

Doug S.

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Do you have the Stop Redording toolbar visible when recording? Record a new macro, and if that toolbar isn't visible, select it from View, Toolbars. Then select the toolbar options (arrow on the right of that toolbar) and select Add or Remove Buttons, Stop Recording, and select Relative Reference.

That option should appear on the Stop Recording toolbar whenever you record a macro now.

Hope that helps!
