How to check the cell that contains only number

Hi

i am having one doubt

i.e
the cell from h6:h145 , and it contain only numbers but only " 8 "digit number not less than or more than "8"

i want to check
1. its only number not a text or special char
2. correctly 8 digit number

can u do favor for me..

As a formula you can copy and paste down, try:

=AND(ISNUMBER(H6), LEN(H6)=8)

If the answer is TRUE then H6 is a number and is exactly of length 8 numeric characters (won't work for numbers with decimals)
