Hello Everyone
I need an advice from exel masters
I trying to create formula like this:
=IF(ISNUMBER(AND(SEARCH("text1";A1)),(SEARCH("text2",B1))),"text3")), but does not work
Formula says that If A1 is found to contain the text1, and B1 is found to contain the text2, then display text3

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
try this

=IF(AND(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("text1",A1)),ISNUMBER(SEARCH("text2",B1))),"text3")

your original formula has a mixture of ; and , as seperator that I assume was a typo

=IF(ISNUMBER(AND(SEARCH("text1";A1)),(SEARCH("text2",B1))),"text3"))

try this instead

=IF(AND(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("text1";A1));ISNUMBER(SEARCH("text2";B1)));"text3")
