How to combine INDIRECT.EXT with existing SUMIFS formula

Hi
I am looking to combine a INDIRECT.EXT with an existing SUMIFS formula. I have a dashboard file that is updated from several files. The SUMIFS formula is based on to conditions, a part number and a operation number. The current SUMIFS formula is working, but I require the file to update the cells without opening the other files.
My SUMIFS formula:
=SUMIFS('C:\Users\atruter\Desktop\[DB - 841.xlsx]PRESS'!G$9:G$44,'C:\Users\atruter\Desktop\[DB - 841.xlsx]PRESS'!$A$9:$A$44,$A10,'C:\Users\atruter\Desktop\[DB - 841.xlsx]PRESS'!$C$9:$C$44,$C10)

Can someone assist me with this?

SUMIFS doesn't work with closed workbooks. You can use SUMPRODUCT:

=SUMPRODUCT(--('C:\Users\atruter\Desktop\[DB - 841.xlsx]PRESS'!$A$9:$A$44=$A10),--('C:\Users\atruter\Desktop\[DB - 841.xlsx]PRESS'!$C$9:$C$44=$C10),'C:\Users\atruter\Desktop\[DB - 841.xlsx]PRESS'!G$9:G$44)
