Hi all,

I am trying to do some conditional formatting.

What I am trying to achieve is this:

I want the date in cells in Column B to fill RED if the date in the cells in Column B is 5 days after the date in the cells in Column A.
And then I want to the same but for 4 days after to be ORANGE.
and then anything 3 days after to be GREEN.

Does that make sense and is it possible?

Thanks all,

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Select the cells in col B & use this formula
Excel Formula:
=B2-A2<=5
Assumes the first cell in the selected range is B2

Hi,

This has me confused, I am trying to highlight the date in, for example, cell A2 to fill RED if THIS date is 5 days ahead of the date in cell A1.

Do you want to highlight A2 based on A1, A2 based on B2, or B2 based on A2?
