HOW TO CONVERT CHART IN EXTERNAL GIFS?

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
select your graph, and while holding down the shift key, go to the edit menu, and select 'copy picture', you can then copy the image of the chart to the clipboard and paste it elsewhere.

Alternatively if you have a whole bunch of charts, you can Save...File as HTML... and then go to the directory where you saved it and you'll find all your charts as filename#.gif

Here is a macro that will do this. You have to be on a chart sheet to run it, and you will have to change the path to suit.

Sub GifCht()
Dim FName As String
FName = Application.InputBox(prompt:="Please enter File name", Title:="Export chart", Type:=2)
ActiveChart.Export FileName:="E:Results" & FName & ".gif", FilterName:="GIF"
End Sub
