Hi all,

I need help creating a formula that will convert a date to a number if that date falls within a specified range of dates.

Specifically:
IF 15-July-2002 to 14-July-2003 THEN =1
IF 15-July-2003 to 14-July-2004 THEN =2
etc. through 2007

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
If your date to evaluate is in A2 then try this formula in B2 to give those results

=DATEDIF(DATE(2001,7,15),A2,"y")
