I have a created a pivot table on Product Sales and Date(months) that are being represented by a line graph. At the moment the months are being represented with their actual names (Jan, Feb, Mar, etc.). What I would like to happen is if instead the months were listed as numbers as opposed to their names. For example if the first product sale is in March then March would be depicted as '1' April as '2' and so on. I know that I could manually change each month in a separate table, however I have too many products to do this for so if there was an easy way to streamline this process it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
Are you month's date or text ?
If they are dates just format them as Numbers in the Pivot Table using Field Settings.
If they are text you will need to add a helper column to your data and then to the pivot to give you the month number.
