my source workbook contains multiple sheets and also many lines of VBA.

I need to copy a certain range from the source book to a new destination book, which does not yet exist.
I need to be able to give the new book a name and path.

The source code must not be copied to the new destination.

Thanks for any help.

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Copying a range to a new workbook will not transfer code, are you referring to formulas?

If for chance there is code in the workbook, saving as an .xlsx should remove it.

Thanks Dave

your suggestion works fine.

All I still need is some Dialog Box code, which lets me choose where I should save the destination xlsx
