How to copy a row of info from a non access data base to an access data base form?

I am using a split form, I am trying to copy a row of info from our main data base into an access data base, I do not want to have to import, just copy paste. Is there a way to do this? The will be 1 row of info with 10 columns. I appreciate any help you can give.

If you have the same number of fields on both ends, the data types are the same, and there are no record violations about to be committed (such as copying fields with Nulls and the target doesn't allow it) you should be able to highlight the source row, copy the record, then go to the target Access table and click Paste...Append on the Access Ribbon. Don't try to just Paste - it won't work. If this is going to be an oft repeated task, why not link to the source table and run an append query from a form button click (or macro if you're so inclined)
