How to copy information from one Worksheet to another

This is a complex question and hope I can explain well enough to get an answer.

I need to be able to enter certain information on "Worksheet" and have it also enter information to on the worksheet called "Basic" or "Intermediate" (not shown here)

Some criteria is the following:
1. Only copy the start_date once for each Discipline once.
Ex: Discipline = "Other" for Start_date = "1/21/2011" and Discipline =
"Health" for Start_date = "1/21/2011", should only have 2 entries in the WS "Basic"

2. Also be able to over certain other fields that apply to those lines.

I guess the first thing it needs to do is determine whether to but the information on the "Basic" or "Intermediate" worksheet.

Am I asking to much? Do you need more explanation?
