Hi,

Under the 'name manager' I can see I have successfully created some named ranges.

I would like to create a graph based on some of these named ranges.

Is it possible create a graph/chart using these ranges and somehow pick the names from a dropdown list? I have lots of ranges, often with similar names, and since I have to type them in free hand I make a lot of mistakes.

What I do at the moment is this....select 'insert' then click on 'insert scatter graph (X,Y) or bubble chart', then I select 'scatter with smooth lines'.
This gives me a blank chart. I right click and choose 'select data'. Finally I get the 'select data source' dialog, when I click on 'add' another dialog box pops up - but by now I've forgotten the name of the range I wanted to add!

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
yes it's possible, but often better dealt with by changing the data source rather than the chart. So I'd set up a chart link to a range of data, which you could vary using say INDIRECT
