hi i have this data:

A1=5 B1=6 C1=9 D1=3
A2=2 B2=7 C2=3 D2=5
A3=2 B3=1
G1=100.21

the value in A3 give me the column number in this case 2=B and the value in B3 give me the row number.... in this case 1=first row... the combination of both values is: B1

in A4 i want do: =B1*G1

but is the values:

A3=4 B3=2 =D4

the formula changed autmatically to:

in A4 i want do: =D4*G1

Any advice?

thanks

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.

Shouldn't A3=4 B3=2 be D2 not D4?
