How to create date table using calendar and calendarauto

Hi all,

I am trying to familiar myself in Power Pivot window using CALENDAR AND CALENDARAUTO to create a Date table.

How do I go about this?

My unsolicited advice is to use Power Query instead. I think it is the best way to build a calendar table for Power Pivot.

Thanks Matt, I have read several text books but non mension explicitly that you cannot use these two functions in Power Pivot. I am preparing for 70-779 Analyzing and Visualizing Data in Excel and I want to be clear that you cannot use these two functions in Power Pivot because there is no command to create a table as in Power BI. I have used linked tables, import from database and query from Power Query as you mentioned.
