how to delete unnecessary roles

I have a Excel file that has data on every other row. Is there a fast way/command to get rid of the rows where no data exists?

Yes.

Select a column, hit F5, click Special..., click Blanks, OK, and delete the entire rows.

Alternatively, sorting the "table" will move empty rows to the end.
