How to determine selected cells?

Hi,I would like to determine if A2 is selected,then it will perform some operation...How can I code it so the system will automatic determine cell selected and perform operation.

Maybe

if activecell.address = "$A$2" then ...

I've used active cell though strictly A2 could be selected though not active. I assume this is OK for you, if not please advise.
