I would like to know how can I disable the controls at the top there such as the Cut icon,Copy icon.....

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Daniel, try googling "excel disable cut copy". You'll get tons of hits, as this has been answered many times on this board and others.

Nice link, Ivan. Didn't know you had that.

Daniel, a couple of -type notes:
  • Taking away staple menu options normally really irritates people.
  • You'll need to be able to force the user to enable macros.
  • Make sure that you attach the code to the workbook's ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE methods. Otherwise, if the user has multiple workbooks open you most definitily will annoy them!
