Pivot table formulas confuse the heck out of me. There may be an answer for your question, but I personally find it much much much easier just to create the formula in the raw data (as a new column), and add it to the pivot table range.
I think you misunderstood, don't create a formula right next to the pivot table, put it next to the raw data that the pivot table draws from, then change your pivot table range to include the new column of formulas.
If any moderator picks this up, take note that i have just banned this idiot - fax form Ozgrid for life. He shouldn't be allowed access to any computer!
