How to Do the Sub total

Hi

I have a Sheet which Contain Data row with the following names.

Client, Sales, person ,Product Bill, Rate Cost, Amount

The number of Rows for a Client are not fixed.

I need to put sub total and then use the Date in a pivot table.

How ever if i use the Excel sub total Function then i am not able to use the sheet for Piovt table

Can you please suggest any other way to put the Subtal for all the Client

In the pivot table you can show the subtotals by client. Pivot tables are designed for flexible summarization.
