How to duplicate formatting of the same information from another tab

I need help creating a formula, if possible, that will automatically format the information on one tab, if the same information is already formatted on another tab.
A specific example I would need this for would be:
At 9am, i upload data onto a spreadsheet, on 'sheet 1'. Column A are the accounts, column B are the amounts posted to each account that day. I highlight all cells in column B that match in our system.
At 3pm, i upload the information again, with obviously new data included since the morning run. Could i paste the info into a new tab, 'sheet 2' and create an effective formula that would automatically format column B to highlight all cells with the same account and amount as highlighted earlier that day on 'sheet 1'?
It would save on duplicating work I've already done.

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
I thought maybe so, but i can't figure it how to create an effective formula for doing so, especially with wanting to use the formatting from the first tab, and not using only new formatting for all amounts that are the same. I know amounts will be the same but if they weren't highlighted on sheet 1, i don't want them highlighted on sheet 2.

If a cell on sheet 1 is highlighted, i would like the cell in sheet 2 that has the same account/amount to be highlighted
