How to enable macro in excel 2007

Hello,

I installed excel 2007 and opened a new file. But Macros are disabled. I enabled the macros using the Trust Center setting and restarted excel but still it show the macros as disabled. Can anyone help?

Is it in a sub-folder? Have you trusted the sub-folder?

Have you saved the file as a macro-enabled workbook? What's the file name?

When you open the file, does it warn you that content is disabled and offer you the chance to enable it or does it simply disable it?

How do you know macros are disabled?
