I want to fill unlocked cells (all in same column) in a protected sheet.
1,2,3,4.....n
There are more than 2,ooo cells.
What's is the easiest way?
Is there any macro or vba code available to fill them up?
Your help is highly appreciated.

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Welcome to the board!

Let’s try this non-VBA approach:

Select the top cell, Copy (or Ctrl+C), drag down the scrollbar to the last cell, hold down Shift and select the last cell. This selects all cells in-between the first, top, cell and the last, bottom, cell. Then Paste or (Ctrl+V.)

Make sure that the formula in the top cell isn't anchored ($B$1), if this isn't what you want. If it's anchored all cells copied down will refer to B1. If you want all cells to update accordingly when you copy down have no $-signs at all.
