Hi all,

I would like to ask regarding the Non-vary column in excel.

Let's say i have the following formula in column B
=0.5-0.5*(COS(2*PI()*(A61/A65+1)))

Is there a way to vary A61 from row to row while fixed A65
that is i want to have the following results
=0.5-0.5*(COS(2*PI()*(A2/A65+1)))
=0.5-0.5*(COS(2*PI()*(A3/A65+1)))
=0.5-0.5*(COS(2*PI()*(A4/A65+1)))
.......
=0.5-0.5*(COS(2*PI()*(A65/A65+1)))

Where A2, A3, A4, ..., A65 are all constant value in column A.
A2 is the 1st constant value and A65 is the last constant value.
in short, even if i change values in column A,
the denominator in the formula in column B has to be "last constant value+1"

I tried to copy and paste but it did not work.

I ended up getting results like
=0.5-0.5*(COS(2*PI()*(A2/A2+1)))
=0.5-0.5*(COS(2*PI()*(A3/A3+1)))
=0.5-0.5*(COS(2*PI()*(A4/A4+1)))
.....
=0.5-0.5*(COS(2*PI()*(A65/A65+1)))

Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
