Hi,
I've created a data validation rule in a table as under,

Column (A) - item name
Column (B) - item value
Cell (C10) - Check point for Total of item value

Not If total value of column (B) greater then value of Cell (C10) then error occurs.

I've added stop error message as "Item value must not exceed then value of (C10) "

but i want to insert actual value of cell C10 in an error message. Like "Item value must no exceed then $100"

here $100 is the value of C10.

How can I do that

Thanks

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
As far as I know, there is no way of doing that.
