How to get months when given start date and end date

My table has 2 fields: StartDate and EndDate.
I want a query to generate a list of months from start to end.
For example, if StartDate is 15Oct2011, EndDate is 28Dec2011
I want it to generate this table:-
1Oct2011,31Oct2011
1Nov2011,30Nov2011
1Dec2011,28Dec2011

How to do this ?
