Hi all,
I'm been Googling for an answer for almost an entire week but have yet to find an answer to this infuriating issue - when I create a pivot chart/graph to display year-on-year "% difference from" values, I get values of -100% for those months that I haven't filled in yet.
That is, I have data from 2009 - 2011 (till August 2011), and everything displays fine for the year-on-year chart, up till Aug 2011 (refer to http://www.mrexcel.com/tip105.shtml for the detailed steps). Then from Sept to Dec 2011, I get -100% values! Somehow, Excel assumes that since there are no values for Sept to Dec, it assumes the default value of 0 and calculates the % difference from accordingly, which results in -100% as a matter of course.
Does anyone know how to get rid of those -100% values so that the line for 2011 just terminates at Aug 2011?
Would really, really appreciate any assistance here, thanks in advance!
