Hi Everyone,

I've got an axcel macro enabled file, there is a command button on one of the sheets, that can not be deleted!!! I simply can't get rid of it. I can delete the related codes, so it does not do anything but it's still there!! Can anybody help me?

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Are there other command buttons that you dont want to be deleted? I once had a problem with a ton of checkboxes on top of each other, but I didnt have any checkboxes I needed so I wrote a piece of code that simply deleted all checkboxes in my workbook and I was good to go.

right click on the button then click "assign macro" then delete the macro name from the selection box.

once you have removed the macro from the Button it can be freely deleted. :)
