How to get rid of the message

I am copying data from 1000 different workbooks. They have links to other workbooks which always asks you if you want to update the workbooks whenever you open the workbooks. I don't want to update the workbooks so I have to select "not to update" opinion for each individual workbook.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

Is there a quick way to disable the message box and set the opinion to "not to update"?<o></o>

Application.DisplayAlerts = False


'At the end of your code:
Application.DisplayAlerts = True

I do not have a workbook to test.

Please TEST this FIRST in a COPY of your workbook (always make a backup copy before trying new code, you never know what you might lose).
