How to get the Minus in Red

In A1 i have a 100 and in B2 I have 120.

By using +A1-B1 = -20

How do I get the -20 in RED.

Can anyone help?

You can use a Custom Format:

#;[red]#;0

Alter the # as required... if you want decimals for ex 0.00 if you want thousand separator #,##0.00, if you want negatives within parentheses [red](#,##0.00) etc etc...

Highlight the cell, go to FORMAT, CELLS, CUSTOM, and in the TYPE enter this:

#,##0;[Red]-#,##0;

Click OK.
