I am trying to get the number of the week for an agenda I'm creating.

I thougt about
(month*30+day )/7 = weeknr
but I am getting rounding probs then...

Does anybody have a better Solution, through which I get the actual week-number?

thx

Excel Facts

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off

=WEEKNUM(A1)

where A1 houses a date.

WEEKNUM is part of the AnalysisToolpak add-in, which you can activate via Tools|Add-Ins.

Click on Tools, Add Ins and select Analysis Toolpak. That toolpak has a function called WeekNum that you can use.
