I have ranked a subset of data

A B C D

33.15 6 7 6
32.94 3 3 5
32.66 8 8 2
32.56 6 8 1
32.80 6 8 3
32.87 3 5 4

Column D is the ranked value. What I would like to do is use the data in column A, B, and C for additional calculations and place the data in the A column where D = 1 in cell AA1 and where D = 2 in AA2.

How can I do this without VB code?

Thanks

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
I suggest you insert the ranking infront column A. Then use the vlookup in column AA to get the results.

Try...

AA1, copied down:

=INDEX($A$1:$A$6,MATCH(ROWS(AA$1:AA1),$D$1:$D$6,0))

Hope this helps!
