Does anyone know how to make a macro which adds an empty row when the value of cell changes when going down on a worksheet.
example
Here's one column.
at start itlooks like this

after macro
pp

Thanx inadvance.

Excel Facts

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
say data in A1:a8 (need to accomodate additional rows for line inserts)

Sub Macro1()

DATA = Sheets("sheet1").Range("a1:a25")
crow = 1

For Each LDATA In DATA

If Range("A" & crow)<> Range("A" & crow + 1) Then
Rows(crow + 1 & ":" & crow + 1).Select
Selection.Insert Shift:=xlDown
crow = crow + 2
GoTo 99
End If

crow = crow + 1

99

Next LDATA

End Sub
