Is there a way to get Excel to put labels and tick marks on both vertical axes (left and right)?

I looked into the secondary axis feature, but that appears to be for a second data set.

I have a wide chart. Having labels on both ends would be helpful, especially if I can get an answer to my hidden gridline question in the other thread.

Thanks

Try duplicating the current data series, select the series you added, click Format Selection and then select Secondary Axis.

Do I need to make a second copy of the data -- a second column in the table? Or is there a way I can refer to the original column twice?

You select the chart, goto Select data... and replicate the existing series.
