How can i hide the top toolbar in excel 2016 with VBA?
I dont want to run it in full-screen. That makes users scared :p

but i just want to minimize/hide the top-menu/toolbar when a excel-file is opened and restore it when it is closed.

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Either of these lines of code should do the trick. Then you can call the sub with the workbook_open event.

VBA Code:
Sub HideRibbon()
'CommandBars.ExecuteMso "HideRibbon"
CommandBars.ExecuteMso "MinimizeRibbon"
End Sub
